Ebullient…yes…almost euphoric and all rapturous, started van guarding with my photographer friends towards Banaras( Varanasi) on 23rd November’15 contemplated as nothing less than an empyrean in Hinduism. It was a three day expedition so much convivial and full of endowment. Although spiritually illuminating, I found the prolonged Ghats of Banaras nonpareil. The worshiping horde, the priests, boats rowing across the Ganges, some tied up near the brink, that coruscating evening Aarti near the Dasaswamedh Ghat, ecstatically illuminated floating diyas (candles) with flowers…all looked so much mystical.
